1.) Bodily requirement for salt is half teaspoon per day.
2.) Most Filipinos take 20 grams to 50 grams of salt daily in which very dangerous to kidney function.
3.) The higher salt in the body, the more water is retained, thus, resulting to high blood pressure.
4.) Processed meats like salami, bologna, & canned foods, soup products, pickles & bottled sauces have high content of salt.
5.) Salt acts as agent to hold water in our blood vessels.
6.) Always look on the label of your foods bought in the grocery so as to be aware of over-dosage salt.
